Synopsis: This is the translation of a speech given by Dr. Aliza Berger-Cooper at the brit of her son, Dvir. It is an explanation of two customs she included in her son's brit. The first involves the mother drinking from the cup of blessing. The second custom is the recitation of an Aramaic misheberakh (prayer/request of God) for the mother's and baby's health.
